HMM Digital Torque
wrench testing and Calibration system
Application of
proper torque and
verification of the same is very important in modern manufacturing
processes. Torque is applied by using torque wrenches, pneumatic tools,
electric tools or by hand. Improperly torque nuts and bolts can lead to
a malfunctioning system, and in some cases, it can result in premature
or catastrophic failure. As such it is important that the torque
wrenches used are periodically tested and calibrated.
Traditionally,
torque wrenches have been calibrated using dial type torque applicators
or dead weight torque testing systems. While the former are not as
accurate the latter are difficult to handle and need trained persons to
handle it. On the other hand, HMM's Digital Torque
Calibrators
are accurate and relatively easy to handle. The digital readout
eliminates any guess work in reading and makes the system user
friendly. HMM makes the following types of Torque Wrench Testers cum
Calibrators.
- Manual Torque Wrench
Tester : Torque has to be applied by pulling the Torque
Wrench handle.
- Crank Type Torque Wrench
System : Force to the Torque Wrench is applied through a
geared arrangement.
The system consists
of three torque ranges. For other ratings, please write to us.
