We undertake the modernization of old testing machines, which have mechanical dial type of indicators or mechanical graphing facilities. The dial indicators and graphing is replaced by a personal computer and printer or digital display THE DIGITAL OPTION Model D-UTM: This system has digital electronics. The electronic displays the load and elongation in digital format. The operator may take readings and record the data. The digital feature eliminates the possibility of operator error in reading. These systems are more reliable than mechanical systems. Model P-UTM: This is a personal computer based system. Here the load and displacement are displayed on a PC. The speed of cross head is also displayed. As load is applied, a load V/s elongation graph is plotted on line. The user may obtain printout on a printer. This has the benefit of data acquisition and record keeping.
